Andre's fascination with electronics ignited at the young age of around 10 years of age, where he eagerly dissected any electronic device in his path, driven by a relentless curiosity to understand its inner workings. This early passion propelled him to pursue formal education in Electronics at college. Following his studies, Andre embarked on a decade-long journey as a technician in Electro-mechanical and Electronic Exchanges at Telkom, augmenting his practical expertise while earning an N6 Diploma through further education initiatives.

Throughout the 1980's, Andre enthusiastically embraced emerging technologies, including the Commodore 64 personal computer and its contemporaries like the ZX Spectrum and the 286. These experiences solidified his affinity for electronics, a field that continues to captivate him to this day. While the landscape of electronics has evolved dramatically since then, Andre remains deeply engaged, even exploring the realms of microcontroller programming.
